Force log work when commenting?

Is there anyway to force log work when commenting on an issue? For example, add a field as part of the comment box that has the log work required?

A similar question was recently asked in this topic. Your use case seems slightly different, but could be done in a similar fashion with Power Scripts Live Fields functionality. Essentially you could hide the "Add Comment" button for all issues in a project, and only show it again if the user has logged work on the issue.
