Free AI Chat alternative to Rovo for Jira Free plan

I noticed that Atlassian Rovo (AI chat/agents) is available only for Standard, Premium, and Enterprise plans. Since my team is currently on the Free Jira plan, I wanted to check:

• Is there any free alternative (app, marketplace plugin, or integration) that provides similar AI chat capabilities for Jira?

• Specifically, we are looking for an option that can help with:

  • Answering Jira-related queries through chat

  • Assisting in ticket creation, updates, or reporting

  • Possibly connecting with Confluence for quick knowledge retrieval

If there are any recommended free Marketplace apps, integrations (like Microsoft Teams/Slack + AI bots), or workarounds that replicate some of Rovo’s functionality for Free plan users, I’d love to explore them.

It might help you close the reporting request. Also, you can try creating a chat assistant (to be honest, I haven't tried building one, but now I want to).
