Fullname in JIRA comments.

Hi Team,

We have changed our description and comments from wiki render to text render.

Now if anyone comments by mentioning user it displays username instead of full name.

Fullname works only when the field type is wiki render.

How can i get full name while i'm using text render comment field.

Thank you for getting in touch with Atlassian Community!
This is an expected behaviour when not using wiki style renderer, so if you keep using text renderer it will show the username instead of full name.

Issues is we don't want to use smileys or headings in our  comments or descriptions if we enable wiki style. Which we cant export them properly into excel/csv without using a plugin.
