Hi Team,
I've a general query wrt clound implementation of JIRA core on cloud. Could someone please let me know
1. Our user count is more than 5k and atlassian cloud supports user about 5k. We also have other application on AWS so could we have jira implemented there?
2. If we move JIRA to AWS cloud would be eligible for automatic JIRA upgrades or JIRA upgrade has to be done manually before it reaches EOL
Hi @Neeta Dubey
JIRA Cloud refers to the on demand jira service from Atlassian and not the other cloud services like AWS, Azure.
1) It was announced in the Las Vegas summit that for selected customers, Atlassian is giving 10000 users license on jira cloud. You could check with Atlassian.
2) Hosting JIRA on Cloud services like aws, azure would not make it jira-cloud and does not get the automatic jira upgrades. It will be still considered as self managed instance.
