Get Issue.isEditable() value through REST api

This older question asks how to get the isEditable issue value through the Java WorkflowManager API:

I am looking for a way to get Isssue.isEditable() through the REST API, as I am using a python client. Is this possible? I can't seem to find anything that can resolve this value outside of the Java API:
