Get sender email from E-Mail to Issue function

Hello Community,

i would like to be able to get the sender-email-Adress from an external sender into the Issue description.

Currently we receive mails from external clients but can't always figure out who is the sender of that mail which was created to an issue by our automation.

Is there a chance to get this information beside using the "create new user" function?

@Pierre Heinrich I would suggest using a web form that relays the new issue to your Jira instance through the API.  Then you can capture all the information you need through the form.  Or an even better idea is to just use the Jira service desk for intake of new customer issues.
