Github is about to deprecate API authentication, what should we do in relation to the integrations?

Learned from our Github team that Github is about to deprecate API authentication, this year, now I am using the system built-in Jira DVCS connector to integrate with Github teams, but according to the post, client_id/client_secret to make OAuth app unauthenticated calls will be disabled, and it seems the only supported/native method to communicate with Github, so, will the current existing integrations be impacted?

If yes, can you advise what should I do? (as I am not familiar with authentication things)
