User has all required permissions in project roles as well as notification scheme roles..

(watches, reporters, current assignee). But still issue event not getting notified from Jira to gmail inbox.

We have checked User preference as well modified as notify me. But still no use. Please suggest me..

In Jira email id configured First name and last name of the starting letter as upper case for eg: Aa.Bbxx@gmail.com

But in AD group its configured as all lower case.. Will it be an issue?

eg: aa.bbxx@gmail.com

Hi @Radha Kandimuthu

Do you have a outgoing mailhandler configured in your Jira instance if no then that would be the problem. Here is some documentation that would help you set up Outgoing mail handler in your Jira instance - https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/configuring-a-server-for-outgoing-mail-151078.html

Other issue might be you the workflow transition notification events might be set to generic event and that generic event does not have the the users defined. You dont have to worry about this issue if you did not make any changes to the create transition of your workflow.
