Goals in Jira

Hi Forum,

I am working in a small way with Jira and the free plan at the moment but would like to know more about Goals.

My understanding is that an Epic or Project can be linked to a set of goals that are in the Goals section of the system.  I can see the field in custom fields so I can add it and I can see the Goals button in the sidebar and it does appear if I click it, but it needs activation?

Simple question, if I activate it, does that incur costs?

I don't believe that it does as it has been rolled into Jira from Atlas and is part of the free package now?

Hi @Ian Rickwood 

activating the Goals feature in Jira does not incur additional costs on the Free plan.

The Free plan includes limitless goals, projects, and tasks, allowing you to play with the Goals module as much as you want.
