Goals setting in jira

I need to define a milestones fro my project because it is scheduled for 1+ year to the future and company want to track the progress of work by setting up the milestones. I was thinking to use the Goal functionality but I am not sure if it will make sense for 1 team but multiple epics. Please give me your feedback on that.

You can try using Releases in Jira Plan. Releases are the milestones in a plan that marks a point in time when work needs to be completed.
