Hey Everyone,
Our current instance of JIRA has over 1k projects, and about the same number of boards. When we hit "Manage Boards" it takes several minutes (at best) for the page to load and list out all of the boards. We also can see the "PS Eden Space" memory graph cycle through the 16GB it has and garbage collect multiple times for one "Manage Boards" call. Is there a way to paginate this list so that it doesn't load everything at once? Or a way to improve the performance of this page?
Thanks!
Agreed Greg.

We have the same issue. There needs to be a away to:
- filter the manage boards with a favourites so that Users can filter on just those they are interested in
- have a search for board feature
- be able to paginate the results
I understandf the product is young, but at the moment it is struggling in an enterprise environment.

I would suggest you file a support ticket (for bothe the pagination request, and one for performance issues), and have a look at the scaling guide if you ahbve not already, https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/ATLAS/Scaling+JIRA which has some pages that speak tothe relative size of eden, young, etc comapred to overall heap to prevent thrashing and performance issues. Also many good JVM tuning options.

We've looked at the Scaling guide and it's appropriate for Small and maybe Medium size businesses, but definitely not Enterprise.

How do you mean @zachary? We have a JIRA/GH instance with 10,000 users and although we have required some tweaks, it runs very well. Atlassian has stats on supporting customer bases much larger then our own as well. YOu may want to submit a support ticket and they can get very specific on ehcache, JVM heap and GC tunings that can apply to your situation.
