Groovy script to restrict link types in a project

Hi ,

Can someone help me out with the groovy script for script runner plugin to validate the link type and issue type of the linked issue.

The requirement is

Epic has to be linked only to Feature using a "is parent of" link type during issue creation. You should be able to create issues even without issue linking. Similarly Feature should have only one link type "is parent of" and should always be linked to Story.

JMWE plugin works fine, but it doesn't work as expected when we configure issue linking using Link scheme in JIRA. let me know for more information. Thanks

Can you clarify your comment about JMWE? What do you mean by "Link Scheme"? There is no such thing in native Jira.

JMWE is a plugin used for workflow customization. It is JIRA miscellaneous workflow extension plugin. I am trying to achieve the condition using script plugin if possible. Link scheme is a feature of a plugin called extended schemes that is used to limit the values for priority, resolution and link types.
