I would like to setup my kanban board so that it is 'grouped' by fixversion.
Context:
Project; Rolling out application in the United States, each state is considered a separate entity
Third party provider does the development, they do releases per state so I have created the fix versions for each patch release for the rest of the year.
On the kanban board I would like to see the tickets grouped according to this fixversion so that I can see what is included in each release in each state. I know I can look at this in multiple other places but I want it on the kanban board.
Tickets at the moment are logged as the 'work to be done' and subtasked by 'US states'
EG Main ticket =
T & C's - hyperlink on homepage not working
Sub tickets:
Colorado | T & C's -hyperlink on homepage not working (fixversion CO| Patch release)
New Jersey | T & C's -Hyperlink on homepage not working (Fixversion NJ | Patch release)
etc
Want to See it on the kanban board as:
Fixversion: CO | Patch release
- T & C's hyperlink on homepage not working
- story 2
- story 3
Fixversion: NJ | Patch release
- T & C's -Hyperlink on homepage not working
- story2 (may be different to what is in CO patch release)
NOTE: Some stories / bugs relate to all states, some only relate to certain ones
Hi @Casey Olson
You can use the swimlanes configuration with queries that match the different fix versions. These have to be manually entered. Link: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/configure-swimlanes/
Cheers
Thank you so much, worked a charm, I didn't realise that you could have multiple queries there and then it would split them as such.
