Hi, I'm new to Jira.

I have 5 issues with 5 different labels, each issue has 3 labels.

Issue 1 (Labels: A, B, C)

Issue 2(Labels: A, B, D)

Issue 3 (Labels: A, B, E)

Issue 4 (Labels: A, F, C)

Issue 5 (Labels: A, F, D)

In advanced roadmap, I'm trying to use Group By Labels to create a new group:

Milestone 1:Issue 1+issue 2 (Labels: A+B+C+D).
However, what I got is a list with every issue with label "A" or"B" or "C" or "D".

My question is, in advanced roadmap, how to group by multiple labels with a "AND" relationship?

Hi @Stephen Yang and welcome to the Community!

You are trying to do something that is not what the product is designed to do. The group by function in advanced roadmaps does exactly what you describe: it displays a group for every single label (in this case) it reads from the issues in your plan and then displays all the issues having that label inside that group.

If you want to create a new group, you actually would have to create a new label tho represent that group and add that new label to all the issues belonging to that group. Which is probably not what you want to do, but advanced roadmaps can only use what is on the issues to group things by, not add additional grouping levels dynamically.

Hope this clarifies!
