Group change in Crowd not reflected in Jira

Hi!

Jira Software 8.5.2, Crowd 3.7.0

I removed all groups from a directory in Crowd which is used by a Jira-application.

The users are not able to login, but I can still see the removed groups by the users in Jira.

I synced the Crowd Directory in Jira several times, but still the change is not reflected.

Also the number of users within the license info, still contains the users from the directory with no groups.

Any hint how I can sucessfully sync the group state in Crowd to Jira would be greatly appreciated!
