Grouping doesn't work for timeline

Hi team. Just created a team-based project for myself in Jira and have a few issues there. Can somebody let me know why I can group the issues I created on a timeline by labels or any other fields?

Grouping issues in the (basic) timeline of a team-managed project simply isn't available. Grouping is possible on a limited number of fields in board view. For grouping issues on a timeline, you would need plans (advanced roadmaps), which is a feature of Jira Software Premium.
