And when I assign/updated one task / subtask to that particular group then the group users should get notified by email

You cannot ADD A GROUP AS A ASSIGNEE TO AN ISSUE. Only a SINGLE user can be added as an assignee/reporter in any issue.
You may add a Custom field as a Group picker. Add that custom field to the project and add the required notification for the group using 'Group Custom Field Value'.
Again here, you cannot specify that only for Task/Sub-task issue type notification to be sent. It will be sent for all the issue types in the project based on the notification event action.
To Create Group, Update Notification scheme - Jira Admin permission is required.
