Hello my name is Antony! We have connected Gsuite for sync users since 5 months ago but today we noticed new gsuite users didn't sync to Jira, There is a message in Jira Admin (Gsuite Section):
"We're syncing existing users as usual, but you don't have enough license seats for all your new users so we stopped syncing them in.
To start syncing again, upgrade your user tier and we'll fix the problem with the next sync".
We have standart plan and it says "Up to 10,000 users (and 5,000 agents in Jira Service Desk)" actually we have 576 active users. I don't know what happen with it.
Can you explain me what happen in my account?
Hello People, I received a email from Jira about it. The solution in my issue (and it works) was:
Regarding the message that you're receiving, I believe that it is related to your OpsGenie subscription that has limited licenses and, probably, when granting new users access to your instance, it is granting them access to OpsGenie as well and you've reached the limit of valid licenses for OpsGenie.
To confirm that, as site admin, you can access the Product Access Page and check your licenses for OpsGenie. Probably it is checked the option to New users have access to this product which shares some of the Jira/Confluence access groups.
If it is that the case, I would recommend removing the groups that share access with Jira and Confluence and creating a separate group for OpsGenie only. Also, turn off the option to New users have access to this product.
Hope it works for you guys!
Same here, failure to sync despite number of users significantly lower than the licensed limits
