Is there a method for creating an account that would allow anonymous login to view reports only? This account should not be able to change/modify anything. Is there a way to do this without the account counting against the license count?
One method,
create a filter(s) and share with 'everyone'
add the filters to the "Introduction"
the Introduction shows up on the main screen with the login window. They won't be able to log in, but they will be able to see the reports.
Alternatively, create a user called anonymous, and configure a dashboard that would show the reports that you want. Using this method would use one license though.
Another option, if you are using Confluence as well, you can set up a anonymous confluence page, with the reports on it that you want. The customers could go to that page to see the info.
In all cases, make sure that you test well to ensure that you haven't opened up something more than you are looking to do.
oh, and if you are going to create a anonymous user, it is VERY important that you check your permission schemes to ensure that jira-user is not used in any permissions.
