My business is wanted to be able to connect Jira and Smartsheet using The Smartsheet Jira Connector? I need to understand if there is a cost on the Jira side as I know this is on the Smartsheet side. Also, I was hoping someone could provide some feedback. Is it worth it, is it easy to use, is there a lot of benefits, is it easy to get set up? Any information you could provide would be very helpful.

Hi @Colleen Gotling, unfortunately when it comes to integrations you're often stuck between "cost-effective" and "easy to use". There isn't really a sweet spot between the two on the market right now.
Most integration options require a skilled team with knowledge of coding languages, in which case the "cost" is handed over to that team's hours/day-to-day maintenance.
I just wrote this guide on how to connect Smartsheet and Jira in around 15 minutes with the Two-Way Sync app on the Atlassian marketplace. It's a paid app, but there are a lot of benefits and added value from the time saved in not having to work in both tools anymore.
Essentially, once your flow is set up, any time you create a row in Smartsheet, a Jira task or issue is automatically generated with data linked to Smartsheet. The same is true in reverse (if you want) - newly created tasks or issues can generate new rows in Smartsheet.
Then, manual changes on either end can automatically update the other app in real-time.
Let me know if you have any questions! Hope that helps.
Hi, @Colleen Gotling. I have not, but. you might want to check out the reviews for it on the Atlassian Marketplace if that helps. Maybe this helps a little.
