Has anyone experienced Jira automation failure notifications but an empty audit log?

We are migrating from Bitbucket to Gitlab (not my choice!) and consequently have development details integration enabled for both.

I have been trying to get an automation to trigger when a Merge Request is created, to transition the Jira issue to code review.

GitLAb documentation implies that the 'pull request created' trigger should do this (though they call theirs merge requests...),.

I keep getting emails such as:

Hi

The automation rule Transition to Code Review on MR create just failed with an error on your Jira instance (https://jira.int.kn).

Please check the audit log for more details in the automation admin section (#22272201).

To stop receiving these e-mails, please update your notify on error settings in the rule details for this rule.

Cheers, Jira automation

However, when I check the audit log for the automation rule,. I can't see that it triggered at all. I even tried adding a value to the audit log, immediately on the trigger, but there is nothing!

Hi @Ignacio Vera

@Paula Cruickshank appears to be using Jira Data Center, not Cloud...and that incident is for Cloud.

Kind regards,
Bill
