Have a Sub-Task create another Sub-Task on the Parent Issue through a Post Function

We are currently on the Cloud version of Jira Core. Currently we are using the add on Sub Task Manager to generate specific Sub Tasks at certain times during Workflow Post Functions. Right now though if the Issue is already a Sub Task, through the Sub Tasks Workflow we cannot generate another Sub Task for the Parent Issue.

My question is: Is it possible to Create a Sub Task for the Parent Issue through the Workflow Transition of a previously created Sub Task?

Hi Matt,

There isn't a way to create a Subtask from a Subtask. From my experience it is not possible. You can trigger several Subtasks from one parent ticket, however not possible with a SubTask.
