I'm rather new to Jira, and I'm trying to figure out a solution to a problem our team seems to have developed. Basically, we have a tendency for our tasks to sometimes start to accumulate in one column of our sprint board. Basically, people will submit minor tasks for PR review, but the never get reviewed, leading to that PR column to have tasks in it that can be weeks old. I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on what might be a good approach to have a task move from a regular column to an expedited. Is there a path to something like that which anyone might be familiar with?

Hi @Connor Knightley

There are a few ways to this.

  1. Use Filter subscription; Create a filter which checks the status of the issue and updated date. Save the filter and subscribe a group containing your PR to it. Set frequency it should trigger an email to the group.
  2. Use an add-on like automation lite and configure a rule similar to the above but instead transition the issue and trigger a notification to the team(easier achieved with SLA from JSD)
  3. Use API: possible but complex.

Cheers
