Having doubts in Jira Dependencies

I am having Jira admin accesses in our company. we are using Jira advance roadmap, in that we are trying to set dependencies between each task. once I created dependencies between two tasks, if I  change timeline of 1st task , I am expecting dependent task timeline will change automatically. But is showing only warning dates or not changing automatically. Please guide me in this.
