Hi,
Sorry for the stupid question, but yesterday I set up Jira server on my computer as a trial of it. I got all the way to the login screen then left for the night. This morning I can't find the username/password I used, but as I didn't set up emailing, is there a way to get into the h2 database on my windows 10 box and find out the username at least? Or to trick it for example into showing me the "can't access your account" email?
Thanks in advance for any help!
Alejandro
Hello,
Kindly read this KB:
https://confluence.atlassian.com/jira/retrieving-the-jira-administrator-192836.html
Thanks!
Just in case it saves anyone else some time, I stopped jira, located the install, off my home directory: ~/Atlassian/JIRA/bin and in setenv.bat I added this line and restarted:
set JVM_SUPPORT_RECOMMENDED_ARGS="-Datlassian.recovery.password=mypassword"
About 9 minutes later it launched, and I logged in with the username "recovery_admin". All fine! Thanks very much for that link Alexey.
Ale
