Hello.

I have a couple questions about features in new issue view.

First of all i can't find "Convert to Sub-task" button. There is no way to convert issues to sub-task(

Also, there was very useful panel called Time tracking with Estimated, Remaining and Logged and there was feature to edit logged time? How to edit logged time in new feature?

Hi @proka_89 and @Darren Smith,

Currently, the option to "Convert to Sub-task" is not available on the new issue view.
We have a bug related to convert subtask to issue feature, that it's also applied to the opposite since we use the same menu to "Convert to Sub-Task" and "Create Sub-Task.

Related to the Time tracking, can you please let us know what type of project it does not show?

Also, if you want to turn off the new issue view for now, you can click on "See the old view" as it shows on the screenshot added by Darren, or if you want to disable for all projects, you must go to your profile picture > Personal settings.

Hope this helps!

Hi Evgeniy,

Do you have the option of seeing 'the old view' as seen in the top right hand corner of an existing ticket?

See the old view.jpg

Personally, I find the new view to be awful. I've not yet found a way to enable the old view permanently - or whether or not it is even possible? If it was, I would most certainly get it switched on.

I find myself clicking far more to get to the screens that I'm familiar with. There are several slight variations of the same screen - some of which have functionality applied to them, and others are totally missing it.

I've never really found Jira to be the slickest of applications to use. But the current change to Jira Cloud is most certainly a backwards step, in my opinion.
