Hi, I want to create a customer portal for Jira Core

I  want to create a customer portal for Jira Core but I don't want to use Jira Service Desk. Any idea of how can achieve this?

Hi Kristina and Welcome,

There is no way to create a customer portal for Jira Core, you must use Jira Service Desk.

Jira offerts an API REST, you have the option of creating a web application that acts as front-end but this no make any sense since using Jira Service Desk is much simple as developing a whole front-end to manage customer requests.

Hi Jack,

Thank you for the quick response. Jira SD is a great option but for Jira Data Center there is a limitation of 50 users minimum. As we need only for 5 agents it is unnecessarily expensive. Is there any option for us to order Jira SD (Jira Data Center) license only for 5 agents?

Minimum tier for DataCenter instances are 50 agents as you can see [HERE]
