License renewal after one year

I have purchased Jira software License for 1 year with 100 users. Now my License was near to expire. 

Now do I need to buy the license with the same cost ?

Again I have to buy software license for 1 year with 100 users Or Buying a maintenance license is enough.

Could anyone clarify my doubt, Thanks in advance.

Jira software (Server) licenses are perpetual (which means that Jira will work even after the licence expires. But you will not be able to upgrade to versions released after your licence expires and you have not renewed the maintenance), and include 12 months maintenance (updates/support) starting from the date of purchase.

Renewing maintenance is entirely optional.

The price for renewing maintenance for a 100 users Jira Software license for next 12 months is USD 4,150.
