Hi, is it possible to send an email notification when a version is marked as released?

I need to send email when a version is marked as released in Jira. Is there a way in Automation rules?

yes, you should be able to use "Version released" trigger and "Send email" action.

• When: Version released
• Then: Send email

Do you mean a link to the released version on the Releases page?  If so, you may add the following to your email, substituting in your company's URL and Project to Jira:

myCompany.atlassian.net/browse/myProject/fixforversion/{{version.id}}
