We're trying to create various new issue types to do the following:
- Capture structured data from each user for a given new issue type
- Report on that structured data by individual issue and in an aggregated way across issues of the given issue type
- Report by Epic/Release/Other-parameter, as well as across projects of a certain project type (we're also defining custom project types)
Essentially we're trying to use issues as forms with workflow for filling out the form and reporting to get that data out of the system.
I'm reading the online documentation and working my way through some examples, but wondering if anyone has done this before.
Hi @Robert Freedman feel free that configure Jira to adapt as you need.
There are some step that you will follow for achive this:
1. Configure your custom issue type.
2. Configure your custom fields.
3. Configure your screens.
4. Configure you workflow.
