Hi @Waheed Shaik

Is this still happening?

This was an incident on 22nd November, see https://jira-software.status.atlassian.com/ - but should now be resolved

Resolved - Between 02:15 UTC to 09:15 UTC, we experienced issues sending notifications for Confluence and Jira Software. The issue has been resolved and the service is operating normally.
Nov 22, 09:18 UTC
Monitoring - We have identified the root cause of the intermittent errors and have mitigated the problem. We are now monitoring closely.
Nov 22, 09:13 UTC
Identified - We continue to work on resolving unknown mentions in notifications for Confluence and Jira Software. We have identified the root cause and expect recovery shortly.
Nov 22, 08:38 UTC
Investigating - We are investigating cases of degraded performance for some Confluence and Jira Software Cloud customers. We will provide more details within the next hour.

Hi @Waheed Shaik

you  might need to check that email from User Management view, probably it is disabled/suspended or doesnt have access to the site anymore.

also, worth to check this https://confluence.atlassian.com/confkb/mention-feature-doesn-t-work-for-specific-user-if-disable-autocomplete-option-is-enabled-744527570.html which might be relevant to your query.
