Hi all,
I know that this is a common topic, but I didn't find yet an answer.
I have already set all the security permission, but the project list is still visible.
Do you know any opportunity to solve this issue through the Category option?
Atlassian team, please help us :)
Hello @Fiorella Santopietro
Welcome to the community.
Are you trying to prevent the users from accessing the View All Projects screen, or are you trying to ensure that screen lists only projects to which the users have access?
Hi @Trudy Claspill ,
thanks for your reply. That's exactly it! I'd like to hide the "view all projects" screen if you are not allowed to see it. Just a particular group should have the authorization to see it. Is it possible? Do you have any workaround? :)
Thanks a lot!
Fiorella

Unfortunately, no, I have not found any information on how to set permissions for accessing the View All Projects page. I don't think there is a way to do that.

If you want to get that info to Atlassian, you should use the Feedback button available within your Jira instance or open a support case with Atlassian directly. This is a user community, and Atlassian is not necessarily monitoring it looking for bug reports or change requests.

Hi @Fiorella Santopietro , welcome to the Community.
The ability to browse a project is driven by the project's permission scheme. In the scheme the Browse permissions will have one or more roles/groups associated. Users in those groups/roles will have access.
You cannot use Project Categories for permissions.

Hi @Jack Brickey thanks a lot for your reply. Unfortunately, I have already set up the permission scheme, but the user that doesn't have that permission can still see all the project list. Of course, if they try to enter inside the project they can see just an empty board, but I'd like to hide the entire Project list.
Thanks,
Fiorella
