Hi @Raju

Remove it from all view screens of all your projects, but these two. That should do the trick.

If you have the same screen scheme for all projects, then:

  • I would advise you to create a new screen scheme
  • Create new screens and associate them to the three issue operations
  • From issue type screen scheme, associate the newly create screen scheme to the selected issue types of your two projects.
  • Go back to the mail screen scheme and from the view screen(s) remove the story point field.
  • Now the story point field should only be visible for the two projects

There are three ways to work with field visibility by project (and/or issue type).

@Rilwan Ahmed and @Alex Koxaras -Relational- have covered two, but you can also use a "hide" flag in the field configuration.

Note that if you hide a field, or remove it from screens, then it remains on the issue - there's still a place to add field values on an issue.  If you remove the context for a field, then there is nothing.  You can't work with the field on that issue in any way, it's simply not there, the container is gone.

As an example, let's say you have a field called "creature" and you put "penguin" into it on issue ABC-123, you

  • could hide "creature" and later flip it to visible again. ABC-123 will show "penguin"
  • could remove "creature" from the view screen and later add it back to the screen.  ABC-123 will show "penguin"
  • could remove "creature"'s context from project ABC, and later add it back.  ABC-123 will show nothing - you deleted the field from the project entirely

Hi @Raju ,

You can create a field context and select only required projects and issue types. Then the field will be displayed selected projects even if these are added to different screens.
