Hi,
We are using tempo for registering worked hours.
For some projects we would like to hide the worked hours fields from Tempo and JIRA.
This is especially useful for fixed fee projects.
Sample:
Developer can write hours
Admins / Project leaders can see and aprove hours.
Client sees tickets without hours en cannot browse tempo timesheet whatsoever.
Is this possible or under construction!?
Thanks in advance for the response
Hi Willem,
Worklogs in Tempo can only be used by Users that are Tempo users.
In Tempo Timesheets versions earlier than 8.1 and on Cloud, users with the "Tempo Time Tracking" permission can access Timesheets, but if they do not have the "Approve Timesheets" permission for a Team (https://tempoplugin.jira.com/wiki/display/TEMPO0716/Approve+Timesheet+Permission) or are in the "Tempo Project Manager" Role (https://tempoplugin.jira.com/wiki/display/TEMPO0716/Tempo+Project+Role+Management), they will only be able to view their own worklogs.
In Tempo Timesheets 8.1 and later, this permission has been removed. Users with the "Browse Project" permission can access Timesheets, but need the "View all worklogs" permission to view worklogs of other users (https://tempoplugin.jira.com/wiki/display/TEMPO081/Granting+permission+to+users).
JIRA does display the same worklogs in the Issue Activity section in the Work Logs tab. This tab can be disabled if you are using the Server version (not on Cloud) by doing the following:

Susanne
