Hi, we have a problem how to realize a given structure in JIRA.

There are 2 Products which are based on the same fundamental system. Now if Product A raise an issue which relies to the fundamental system it will be fixed in booth projects but these changes will not appear in the release notes of Product B. What would you suggest to kill this problems.

making a project named like the fundamental system with two components (the products) is no option because in our JIRA instance are only products mapped.

There was earlier post in the forum in which we discussed this extensively, not able to dig out the URL. Anyway the summary was to maintain as three projects, one for common parts for A and B, and actually project A and B.
