×Hi All,
I'm Paras Hinduja, a passport expert provide passport service in Geneva, Switzerland , Europe . Can anyone share tips on how to create a custom workflow in a Jira project?
Thanks
@Hinduja Passport Welcome to the community!
To create a custom workflow you must need to have jira administrator permission.
If you have then you can navigate to Jira settings from the top right Cog wheel icon (besides your user profile) and then Go to Workflows --> Add new Workflow.
Here you can click on Add Step --> type the step name that you want to add and then do the same for another steps.
Once you added the steps you can just add the transitions in between steps either using the Add transition button or dragging and dropping the line in between two steps.
Hello,
Welcome to Community :)
Please check this article : https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/guides/workflows/overview#what-is-a-jira-workflow
It has videos on customizing the workflows.
As Colton mentioned you can also copy your exiting workflow and make changes to it. this should help on how to copy workflow : https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/add-and-delete-an-issue-workflow/
Thank You,
Prachi

I usually copy an existing workflow and adjust it instead of starting from scratch. Makes it easier to tweak transitions without breaking anything.
