HipChat post function causes error

I am trying to add a hipchat notification to a workflow but when I hit the transition that has it, I get this error every time, "The JIRA server was contacted but has returned an error response. We are unsure of the result of this operation." The workflow works just fine without that post function so I know that's the problem. Does anyone know the solution to this error?

Hey, Kathy. On top of the answer provided by Jobin, you might wanna consider upgrading your JIRA to at least the supported version to allow the engineers from the support team to assist you should there be anything from the atlassian-jira.log - https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/Support/Atlassian+Support+End+of+Life+Policy
