Has anyone found a good solution (in the shape of a JIRA plugin or integrated tool\service) which would allow my users to create historical\day-over-day reporting on JIRA data? We are currently doing this by exporting a filter on a regular basis and appending it to a dataset in Google Sheets, but it seems crazy to me that this is the best option.

Before you ask...

- We are looking to measure the changes to a set of issues (issues added\removed, increases\decreases in story size, etc.) so as much as I love 'Rich Filters' and some of the other dashboard enhancements, their real-timeness is a deal-breaker.

- EazyBI has a lot, if not all, of the features we'd want...but the learning curve is practically vertical. I'm really hoping for an option that doesn't require me to be the only one who can make reports (after I complete my masters degree in MDX)

- There are a bunch of plugins and other mechanisms to feed data into Google sheets out of JIRA. However they all seem to require a human to kick off the data pull, and the ones I found all seem to overwrite with the latest data as opposed to appending to give a historical view (aka no historical).

- As mentioned above, I'm not opposed to using a SaaS BI tool like Klipfolio as long as it meets the need (I tested Klipfolio, and it's close but not quite there).

Help me Atlassian-Com Kenobi...you're my only hope....

Hi,

One minor suggestion regarding eazyBI is that users might benefit from the use of the public Demo account with several examples of report designs and MDX formulas for different use cases: https://eazybi.com/accounts/1000/dashboards/14871-chart-types

Let me also mention that eazyBI support is happy to help for filling the learning gaps of the users if there are specific use-cases to be resolved. You may also look for training; a couple of eazyBI partners can provide excellent courses online.

Kindly,

Janis, eazyBI support
