I'm using a custom field in Script runner to show the parent issue in hierarchy and at the same time extracting data from Jira to a SQL server to build reports, the data refresh to server is configured to update the issues that have had some modification according with the log. My problem is that changes in the scripted field to obtain parent don't modify the issue history log and are not being detected by the refresh process. Do you know if it is possible to configure a flag or something similar to indicate when the field with the parent issue in hierarchy has changed and take into account this issue in the refresh? Or if you have any other idea to solve this problem.
Thanks in advance!
This fields are "dynamic", so they can't be tracked.
You can make very "ugly" workaround, with making job, that will run everey 5 minutes, for example, and copy data from scripted fields to additional custom field.
