Holistic view of a project

We have a big project  , where in we use JIRA to create stories. But if someone has to get a complete view of the project design or if some one wants to know what this project does end-to-end where should we get it ? Is there a way to create it and link to stories ? 

If i have 5 components involved in a project, each story talks about work involved in individual components; How someone could get an end to end view of what this project is delivering within the team ?

In very short you can add that as description to the project.

If you want to describe it more detailed, I would suggest to describe it somewhere else (for example confluence). There you can also add links to stories.

You can add the link to the confluence space/page as project URL.
