How Do I make second/child list of cascading field mandatory?

Hi,

I have created a cascading custom field and made it mandatory, but it allows to skip the second/child list which should not be the case.

Please let me know how can I achieve this, so that child list is also mandatory when the field is mandatory

Have you tried using the 'Fields Required' workflow validator of the addon Suite Utilities for JIRA?

You can't out of the box. There may be a plugin that allows it. I'd search the marketplace.
