How are Jira Software and Jira Work Managment related

How are Jira Software and Jira Work Managment related? Are they products that need to be licensed differently? We have tested both and would like to license only one. We prefer Jira Work Managment but would like to use Kanban or Scrum templates - is that possible?

Jira Work Management can be purchased as a standalone product. If you start using Jira Software of Jira Service Management, Jira Work Management will be part of that subscription and does not need to be licensed on top.
