I want to set up some analytics I can review and generate reports for that'll help my project managers review and analyze individual performance for all teams against our projects and sprints.
Ideally if we can review :
I've checked out a few charts and apps on Jira but most are centered around spint performance or time logged.
Hi @Lareb Umer
Welcome to the community !!
If you would be interested in a mktplace app, you can try out
The "Time in Status" report with Status grouping feature, the Time with Assignee report and the Status Count report can help to meet your use cases here. Also the app has 20+ reports to meet a variety of use cases.
Disclaimer : I am part of the app team for this add-on
Hello @Lareb Umer
Welcome to the community
Thanks for bringing this up.
If you're open to using a third-party app, I’d recommend Timepiece – Time in Status for Jira, developed by our team at OBSS. It helps you analyze metrics like task completion time, workload by assignee, and issue reopen patterns in a flexible and actionable way.
Here’s how you can address your specific needs using Timepiece:
Before configuring any report, you can use the Sprint filter to select the specific sprint you're working on. This lets you isolate metrics for that sprint and focus your analysis accordingly.
1. Time taken for tickets to be cleared
Use the Status Duration Report with the Consolidated Column view.
This report shows the total time each issue spent across multiple statuses (e.g., In Progress, Code Review, QA), giving you a clean and unified “Time to be Cleared” metric.
2. Monthly performance per team member
The Assignee Duration Report is perfect for tracking how much time each assignee spent working on issues.
You can group results by assignee and filter by sprint, project, or date to generate performance views for any timeframe.
3. Times a ticket has been re-opened
You can use the Transition Count Report to track how often tickets move backwards to a previous status (e.g., from QA or UAT back to “Fix Needed”).
This helps identify tickets that required rework or didn’t pass validation stages the first time.
All of these reports respect your working calendar, can be added to Jira dashboards, and exported or pulled via REST API for integration with external BI tools.
If you’d like to explore further, feel free to try Timepiece on Atlassian Marketplace. If you need anything to help, just let me know!
Hope it helps,
Ayça

Hi @Lareb Umer ,
That’s a great question, and a challenge we often see with teams managing multiple projects and sprints across different contributors.
You might want to take a look at Time in Status app (developed by our team at SaaSJet). It’s specifically designed to give you deeper visibility into how work is progressing—on both individual and sprint levels.
✅ If you're looking to track:
Time taken to complete tasks (by person or status)
Monthly individual performance trends
Reopened tickets or rework patterns
…Time in Status can help surface those insights with reports like:
Assignee Time Report – see how long each person spends on issues
Status Count Report – spot how many times tickets are reopened or sent back to prior statuses
Sprint Report – detailed charts showing committed vs. completed work, scope changes, workload by team member, and more
It’s not about “grading” developers—but giving project managers the proper context to support, coach, or rebalance the team when needed.
Please let me know if you'd like a sample setup or a walkthrough of a use case. Happy to help! 👇

Hi @Lareb Umer,
Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
As mentioned already, this cannot be achieved by using the Jira native functionality. So most likely you will need an app.
You mentioned that you've already reviewed some of the app on the Atlassian Marketplace. But have you had a chance to take a look at our Great Gadgets app?
This app offers may gadgets that will allow you measure individual performance with respect to all sprints. Here are some examples:
By using the Pivot Table & Pivot Chart gadget you can track the amount of work completed in every sprint, by team member.
Or maybe the number of issues resolved every month by each team member:
With the Time in Status gadget offered by the same app, you can see the average time to resolution by team member.
These are only a few examples of what you can measure with our app. It offers many other gadgets that can be useful for the same purpose. For more details, feel free to contact us at support@stonikbyte.com.

Hey @lareb and welcome to Atlassian Community.
As Trudy says this isn't possible with Jira's native functionality. Do you have those metrics (times a ticket has been opened and time taken to clear ticket) configured as custom fields already, or would you need any solution to calculate/populate those values for you?

Hello @Lareb Umer
Welcome to the Atlassian community.
What you seek is not available with native Jira functionality unless you want to develop a custom solution yourself leveraging the Jira REST APIs.
Are you willing to consider third party apps to achieve your requirement?
