How can I add a child to my issue?

Jira only gives me the option to add parents and even so, it doesn't recognize all issues. I want to add a child to an issue/epic without having to go the other way around (which as I mentioned doesn't always work because Jira doesn't recognize all issues in the Parent tab).

Hi @Gustavo Ernandes Jardim Franco , you should see something like below to add a child.

For the first child you use the initial image but once you have a child added you can use either method as shown in the second.
