I want to configure JIRA Service Desk for auto assign a issue to the first user who commented on it. Is there any way to do this?

If you use "{{comment.author.key}}" in assign issue action. It will work.

Since this feature is not available natively, you can try "automation for jira". This allows us to add a trigger "Issue Commented" followed by the action "Assign Issue".

I'm afraid this action "Assign Issue" is not available. Unfortunately I think this feature can't be implemented in the jira. But, thanks for your support.
