How can I capture user in issue audit using username through the REST API.

Hi

Need help on capturing user whenever an action is performed on a issue through REST api and the username will be provided to the API call , please help me by providing sample code or with specific details.

For example, Say an issue is ISSUE-10 is updated the status from open to close through rest api and the username "harinath@abc.com" is provided in the api call, so I am expecting that username "harinath" should appear in the "History" audit tab.

What do you mean by updating issue history tab? You want to change the history of an issue? It is not possible
