How can I change my default issue view on my self hosting plattform?

I have set up a self hosting jira plattform for managing our App "OpOnion". The default issue view is on the right of the screen if you click on an issue. From work, where we use Jira too I am having a centered issue view, which I really prefer. How can I change that?

I have done some research, but haven't found anything useful there. The "labs" switch I should have activated is not visible in my jira settings. :(

It seems as though the new board issue view will be available in Jira Server 8.0.
