How can I change the timestamp at comments?

Hi,

whenever a comment is posted to an issue or an issue is created, you can see how many minutes ago that happened.

Sometimes we need to compare what happened in another software at the same time, so the information "5 hours ago" isn't very helpful.

Where can I change that information to an exact timestamp? The time an issue was created must be saved somewhere to calculate how long ago it happened, so I'd like to see that date/time.

Didn't find a way to change in the settings.

Thank you for your help

Hi @Marcel Bouge

I believe you mean if you can disable relative time stamps and to use absolute timestamps.
Please refer to the Suggestion:
https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-41506

With New Issue View the way how it works is the following:

When the date of the action is <= 7 days ago, you’ll be able to switch between relative and absolute formats by clicking on the timestamp.
When the date of the action is > 7 days ago, it will always show the timestamp in absolute format, as per our design guidelines.

Cheers,
Daniel

Hi @Marcel Bouge

If you export the issues to csv you can check the exactly time the issue was created.
