How can I completely delete the old label and will not shown in the dropdown

I had created Label and its auto-saved, no way to edit or delete it. Please help me to delete  or way to update the label

For Example - Label created as "Mobile" i want this to be changed as "Phone" do to project needs, how can i change the label.

From the documentation: if you remove label from all issues then it shouldn't be suggested nor available. You can do that with bulk edition. Here you check more details + link to feature request for improvement of labels management: How to delete a label in Jira
