We have a project and configured as shown above (scrum ). We are planning to create the following issues: Initiative and Deliverable in addition to the Epic, Story and subtask.
We would like to be able to have the board view same as the attached table above.
Sprint and backlog will have story and task/subtask.
Epic is shown as a column and contains issues (story and tasks)
Deliverable ( or any other name) is another column and can contain Epic
Initiative is another column and can contain Deliverable.
I know that versions can be a column and contain issues. Any other name that can be configured to be a column and contain issues same as Epic and Versions.
Your help is greatly appreciated.
Your table is not a board. The only way you could get close to that on a board would be to have a workflow where the status of an issue actually represents its issue type. Which would be unusable as an issue tracker!
Your table is probably more of a plan, so I'd be looking at Advanced Roadmaps or Big Picture to get that sort of reporting out of it.
Another option would be the Canvas app which does a lot of reporting based on grids and you can select what you use on the axes (again though, not a board)
Thanks for your quick reply. Sorry for my late reply. The table is used as a way to illustrate my request. My request is related to the board.
We can do it in the roadmap but we were hoping to be able to see all in one view, so developers can have a good layout about the overall quarter workload (PBIs) without switching to another page.
I saw a user request to JIRA team back in 2016, requesting what we are looking for "Allow customized fields within the panel of the board same as Epic and version". Looks like the request did not make it.

Are you using Jira Server/Data Center or Jira Cloud?
What Roadmap tool are you using that will allow you to create the Deliverable and Initiative issue types?

I believe we are using Jira cloud. We managed to configure the road map with Initiative and deliverables, but we were hoping to be able to see all in one view, so developers can have a good layout about the overall quarter workload (PBIs) without switching to another page.
